I don’t have a regular family doctor, can I still be a member of Healthspan?

Absolutely! Healthspan is ideal for those without a regular GP. We provide regular testing and expert consultations to guide your health journey.

Is Healthspan available in the United States?

Currently, Healthspan is exclusive to Canada, but we're interested in expanding. Let us know if you’re in the US and interested in future updates.

How long does it take for me to get tested after I join?

Within a few days of becoming a member, we will reach out to begin scheduling your first tests.

Does Healthspan replace my doctor?

No, Healthspan isn't a substitute for your healthcare provider. Instead, it complements your existing healthcare by providing in-depth insights into your health, empowering you as an informed and proactive patient.

Do memberships include repeat blood tests or is that just once a year?

While our longevity memberships include an annual blood panel, our members have the option of measuring their progress by having blood tests done as often as they’d like for an additional cost. This allows for timely tracking and adjustments to your health strategy.

Everyone! Especially those who want to be empowered to take control of their health. Healthspan was designed to help people of all backgrounds to understand their health with evidence-based tests.

How does membership work?

We offer two annual membership options: Longevity and Longevity+. Join the membership plan that works best for you and we’ll take care of the rest. All memberships renew each year with your annual blood panel.

I haven’t received an email confirmation for my sign up, what should I do?

Check your spam folder and email tabs. Add connect@myhealthspan.com to your contacts and request another confirmation email.

I forgot my login information, how do I sign in?

Use our password reset form and enter all possible email addresses. Check all email accounts for Healthspan correspondence.

How do I get a receipt?

A receipt is emailed upon signup. You can also access all transaction records through your account.

What is Healthspan’s billing policy?

How do I edit my account information (phone number, address, credit card, etc)?

How do I manage my subscription (add services, renew, cancel, etc)?

Manage your subscription easily through your online account. Add-ons, renewals, and cancellations can be handled in your profile settings.

Is Healthspan covered by my HSA (Health Spending Account)?

HSAs often cover our services, but confirm with your plan administrator. Keep your receipt for reimbursement.

Is Healthspan covered by insurance through my employer or by my private insurance?

Is Healthspan covered by medicare or provincial public health insurance?

Who reviews my results?

Results are reviewed by qualified medical professionals and shared with a Healthspan Longevity Coach for further guidance and support.

What do I need to do in anticipation of my blood collection?

Prepare by fasting for 12 hours prior and avoiding strenuous exercise. Continue normal medication but avoid vitamin A supplements for 24 hours before the test.

What are “add-on services” and how do they work?

Add-on services, available to all members, include additional tests like VO2 max, DNA screenings, and others. Manage these through your online account.
